In a world full of supernatural beings, Darkness Awakens, a demoness belonging to the Darkness Guild, finds herself bored. Her companion, Daphne, suggests they go on an adventure. They stumble upon a mansion filled with treasure guarded by a powerful ghost. Darkness, always up for a challenge, decides to battle the ghost alone while Daphne searches the mansion.
Engaging the ghost in a heated battle, Darkness realizes she's in over her head. As she's about to be defeated, Daphne appears riding a spirit horse, saving her. Together, they manage to seal the ghost away and claim the treasure as their prize.
Exhausted but triumphant, they return home. As they celebrate their victory, Daphne confesses her true feelings for Darkness, which are more than just friendship.
