He was driving down the deserted highway when he saw her; a lone figure walking along the side of the road. As he approached, he noticed it was a young woman in a skimpy outfit. She looked small and vulnerable, which only made him more curious. He pulled over and called out to her.
She hesitated at first, but then approached his car apprehensively. He rolled down the window and introduced himself. They struck up a conversation, and he learned that her car had broken down. He offered her a ride into town.
